Hiba Abu Taleb, the program coordinator, said “Female Future” is run in partnership with the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), which owns the program trademark and has been implementing the program across six countries, including Norway, for more than two decades.

She added that the initiative aims to strengthen the leadership skills of Jordanian women working in senior and mid-level management, preparing them for leadership roles and board memberships.

The Jordan Chamber of Industry is implementing the second Cohort of program, in collaboration with the Association of Banks in Jordan and the Business and Professional Women’s Association. Around 50 women participated in the pilot phase in 2022 and the first official cycle in 2024, Abu Taleb said.

She noted that 2023 saw the training and certification of 14 Jordanian trainers, alongside the localization and adaptation of the training materials to fit Jordan’s context.

“Female Future” offers a 13-day training course divided across four workshops, covering three core modules: leadership module, rhetoric module, and board membership module.

The first workshop concluded late last week after four days of intensive leadership training, delivered by trainers Rula Abu Al-Ata and Rawan Baiter, in a setting marked by enthusiasm, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of success stories.
